Our mission is simple. To be The best, quickest and most affordable Tree Surgeon company in the Northwest! Here at Northwest Trees and Stumps we currently service Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and surrounding areas. We are an independently owned specialist arborist contractors with substantial public liability insurance for your peace of mind. We cover all aspects of arboriculture and ecology with our tree surgeons being trained and always aiming to achieve and maintain the highest standards.

And we continually aim to ensure customer service Whilst we continue to expand it is our intention to maintain the qualities that have been the building blocks of our success, encouraging all employees to mirror the company philosophy firmly geared towards the quality of service and customer relations. Each and every customer is recognised as an important part of our success and it is our intention to maintain our high standards. We’ve grown steadily since our roots going back to gardening maintenance almost a decade ago. It’s been a long journey, but we’re finally in reach of our goal: To be sustainable and provide professional tree surgery and stump grinding services for all of our local community, domestic and commercial alike.

Our Story
As stated above, in the early years we started off doing simple garden maintenance. The usual stuff. Hedge cutting, grass cutting, weeding flower beds. Some of our clients would ask us if we could help them with their trees and at that time we couldn’t. But the boss (Paul) thought.. “You know what, I’m going to get trained up as a tree surgeon and start helping my clients” And that’s what he did. He qualified and then took on more and more staff to cope with the tree surgeon work: tree pruning, tree removals and even stump removals (stump grinding) he was being asked to do. We have now grown to having 4 full time tree surgeon teams, we have 4 stump grinders and of course our garden maintenance team covering pretty much all of the Northwest region of UK. We continue to be ambitious and are always looking to grow further and improve the business and stay ahead of the competition.

Yet we have 4 tree surgery teams out on the road every day of the week (Mon – Fri). We are mindful of the environment and always dispose of our waste responsibly in designated recycling areas. We often donate tree parts and chipping to local community projects such as schools and community halls on request. Where possible we prefer to work with local businesses when purchasing or maintaining our equipment, thus giving back to our local community once more.
